May 19th, 2025 – Native Voices Rising, a fiscally sponsored project of Common Counsel Foundation, is thrilled to announce the launch of our 2025 grant cycle as we embark on our second decade of impactful grantmaking. We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support from our community and funding partners, which has been instrumental in our journey.
Since our inception, Native Voices Rising has awarded over $16 million in grants to more than 380 Native-led grassroots organizations. These grants have empowered initiatives that enhance the lives of tens of thousands of Native community members across Indian Country. Our grant partners have been at the forefront of addressing critical issues, from championing environmental and climate justice to advancing health and healing and fostering youth and intergenerational involvement.
The application period for the Native Voices Rising 2025 grant cycle is now open. We encourage eligible organizations to explore the application process and criteria detailed on our website. Please note that the submission deadline is July 4, 2025.
We invite individuals and organizations passionate about supporting Native-led solutions to participate in the pooled funding of Native Voices Rising.
