We are deeply honored to announce that Eva Blake has joined Native Voices Rising as our inaugural Development Director.
Eva comes to this role with a rich history of service and connection to our work. As an active member of the NVR Advisory Committee and a long-time community grant reviewer, Eva felt that this position was a natural way to be of even greater service to the network of Grantee Partners that have deeply inspired her over the years with their stories of self-determined community revitalization. As soon as the opportunity was announced, Eva expressed her great excitement to join the team.
Eva brings over 20 years of experience in development and philanthropy, along with a lifelong commitment to building healthy, sovereign Native communities. She is honored to continue her learning journey at NVR and to help strengthen the flow of resources to Native-led movements and organizations.
In her role as Development Director, Eva will steward partnerships with our funders and collaborators working to deepen relationships, expand support, and ensure that Native-led power building remains rooted in trust, reciprocity, and community voice. With Eva’s leadership, NVR expands its capacity to partner with intention– continuing our commitment to trust-based, relational philanthropy and our shared journey in support of Native sovereignty and self-determination.
Please join us to enthusiastically welcome Eva and celebrate our team growth!
