Native Voices Rising (NVR) is a Native-led collaborative fund and a fiscally sponsored project of Common Counsel Foundation (CCF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This policy explains what information we collect through nativevoicesrising.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you sign up for our newsletter, contact us, make a donation, or submit a form, we collect what you provide. This may include your name, email address, mailing address, organization, and any message you send.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site collects basic technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited, and general location (city or region). We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. Our site uses cookies for this purpose. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- respond to your questions and requests
- send newsletters and updates you have signed up for
- process donations and send receipts
- share information about grant opportunities, events, and our work
- improve our website
Donations
Donations to NVR are made to Common Counsel Foundation and processed through [donation platform]. We do not store credit card or bank information on our website. Payment details are handled by the payment processor under its own security and privacy practices. CCF and NVR keep donor records as required for tax receipts and nonprofit reporting.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We share information only:
- with Common Counsel Foundation, our fiscal sponsor, for donation processing, recordkeeping, and legal compliance
- with service providers who help us run the website, send email, or process payments, and GiveLively, who may use it only to provide those services
- when required by law
We do not publicly list donor names without permission.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any message.
Do Not Track
Our site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Links to other sites
Our site links to grant partners and other organizations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
